- NINE POUND HAMMER is THE American cowpunk band formed in 1985 by guitarist Blaine Cartwright of Nashville Pussy and vocalist Scott Luallen in their hometown, Owensboro, Kentucky. The band were one of the first to combine country music with punk rock. LIVE AT THE VERA was recorded at the imfamous VERA in Gronigen Holland. (Read the review)
